I love studying the Bible, and making it real to my kids. I’m sure you probably already knew that. As a result I have about 10 Bible pinterest boards, actually I went back and counted I have 14 Bible pinterest boards. I’m sure you’re wondering which are my favorite Bible pinterest boards that I use all the time as I prep for my Sunday School class.
Well, wonder no longer:
This is my catch all board, for all of the things I read that don’t fit a specific topic. It can be everything from when did Lucifer fall to the Nicene Creed for kids and teaching your kids how to find things in the Bible.
But I quickly figured out I needed to have much more specific boards. After all this board has over 400 pins and growing.
This is a time in the Bible where you see so much sadness as king after king fails, but just as you’re giving up hope you see a king who does follow God. You can see the hope in Elijah’s ministry as he heals Namaan, the sadness as you see how horribly the kings of Northern Israel did, and the learn from wise kings like Hezekiah.
I’m terrible at memorizing Bible verses. But, you put it in a song, or make it into a game, and I stand a better chance of memorizing it. Or all those nice inspirational verses with a cool picture with them. The ones that look like they should be framed.
I have to admit I’m a sucker for the Advent season, as is obvious when you see my 200 or so pins just on Advent season (that’s not counting my non-Bible Christmas pins). I have like 20 different Nativity crafts, Christmas carol ideas, and lots of Christmas story ornaments. I don’t think I’ll ever complete all of these ideas before the kids outgrow them.
Because let’s face it, without the Gospel I wouldn’t have all of these boards, and I would spend so much of my time writing about the Bible. I may at some point need to break this down into stories of Jesus like walking on water and parables like the great treasure, because this board is already over 300 pins. Hmmm…. that’s sounding like a really good idea. My Bible pinterest boards may go up to 15 boards, and maybe more if I subdivide my catch all Bible board…
You’ve seen my 5 favorite Bible pinterest boards, now check out other ladies from iHomeschool Network’s favorite pinterest boards. I can guarantee they’ve got a lot of cool boards to check out. I get a lot of ideas to repin from them.
