The really cool thing about the book of Acts is watching the different ways God works as the gospel. It’s a conversation that we talk about from time to time as our church has been talking about the many ways to work together reach many people.

Acts of the Apostles lessons for kids
  • Pentecost Sunday School lesson– God will send us the help we need.
  • Peter and John in jail– How to serve God in adversity.
  • Stephen, the first martyr– God does not always save his people.
  • Phillip, the first missionary– God prepares and sends the called.
  • Paul saved on the road to Damascus– God calls even his enemies to serve him.
  • Peter and Cornelius– God’s message is for everyone, not just the Jews
  • Paul’s first missionary journey, sent from Antioch– God calls people to travel when serving him and it is not always easy.
  • Paul and the Philippians Jailer Sunday School lesson– Expect adversity when serving God
  • Paul’s visit to Corinth– Sometimes God gives you rest
  • Paul in Ephesus– What is the tension between free will and God’s plan?  How can we balance those two things?
  • Paul’s Third missionary trip– You can’t do ministry alone.
