Science Sunday:It’s no kids week!

June 2, 2013 Ticia 9 Comments

It’s no kids week here at my house.  My in-laws have taken those cute little rascals and are keeping them for the week so Jeff and I can celebrate our anniversary, as a result I had the start of 2 really awesome posts for this week, neither of which I have the proper time to finish, because I quite honestly am in a hurry to drop them off.

So, I’m gonna finish checking everyone out the day after I’ve written and scheduled this, and don’t be too surprised if I’m slow responding to emails.  I’m probably sleeping.

Let’s see what others did this week:

Each week I’m spotlighting a few posts that were shared previously.  Many posts get linked up later in the week and they don’t always get as many clicks as they deserve, so I’m trying to spotlight a few every week.

Learning and Growing the Piwi Way shared a Bat shape book report her daughter wrote.  I think shape books are so much fun, I should use them more often.

Highhill Homeschool shared their circulatory system project.  Can I just say again how much I’m looking forward to anatomy next year?

Gift of Curiosity shared a great botany lesson (that’s part of a great series), this one is on dissecting flowers.

Now link up your SCIENCE posts for the week, and then visit some of the other posts linked up and say hi. I’m going to be pinning, commenting, FBing or tweeting all of the posts linked up as the week goes by.

Thanks for sharing the circulatory system model. I like that one because it hangs on the door and we get to see it every time we pass. I think it helps the kids remember.
