It’s almost May (only a few more days), and here’s a great collection of Science for kids in May.
Life Science for kids
Gift of Curiosity has a great unit on ants which are starting to be more active with spring coming out, she started with books on ants, then shared an amazing ant habitat, and finished up with ant anatomy.
Growing in God’s Grace has a great post about human anatomy. I wish she’d shared it 6 months earlier when we were learning about cells and how they combine into tissues and organs because her visual is AWESOME!
Botany Science for kids
The Tiger Chronicle shared a great resource to identify spring flowers.
Astronomy science for kids
General Science for kids
Life with Moore Babies shared a super fun Spring Science suggestion
Making cross-curricular connections is very important with all subjects, but often more difficult with science, and so these robot writing prompts are a great idea.

Now link up your SCIENCE posts, new and old, and then visit some of the other posts linked up and say hi. I’m going to be pinning, commenting, FBing or tweeting all of the posts linked up as the week goes by. At the end of the month I’m going to feature the best posts linked up.
Make sure to include a link back to my blog so people can come back from your post to see what others have done. By linking you are agreeing I can feature your posts in a round up post later (I may use a picture to feature, but will link back).
